about

I wrote this song while we were recording the first Aloa Input record in an exhausting winter 2012. The weather fucked me up so hard, that i was rushing in some sort of depression. I developed strange feelings and perspectives on the band. Recording times can be hard shit sometimes and I ended up with the plan to quit the band after the sessions. One night when i couldn't sleep again, i sat in the kitchen of the punky band flat we were living in and tried to calm down by strumming some chords. I got the guitar lick and just mumbled some words on it. When the words shaped i found a clear message for me: living will always be dying in the same time and no matter what i would do, i would fail in some meaning. It may sound strange, but since then this is kind of my refugium: it's all useless anyway, so let's not loose the mind. Shaolin monks have this saying: you have to accept chaos to accept the chaos. I guess that's right.
